Our students can't advocate for themselves. They're depending on YOU. As you mail in your ballots or head to the polls, I ask you to cast your vote for education!
Education is the Foundation of our Democracy
Our current leadership prioritizes profits over pupils with tax cuts instead of investing in our kids. It's not OK, and I'm running to reverse this trend.
My name is Jennifer Samuels, and I'm a candidate for the House of Representatives in LD15, a 7th & 8th grade English teacher and former Athletic Director at Desert Shadows Middle School in the Paradise Valley Unified School District. During the last eight years, I have worked in the district as a general and special education teacher as well as a parent volunteer and PTA Board Member.
As a teacher and a mother of three daughters in public schools, I'm committed to ensuring sustainable funding for Arizona's K-12 system. I believe in providing prosperity and economic growth through a well funded education system that benefits 1.1 million Arizona kids and educators. An avid supporter of the #RedForEd movement, I'm ready to ensure the future of Arizona includes a strong education system that reduces tax cuts for corporations, investing in pupils over profits.
I also have a background in the financial services industry as an employee of Arizona Federal Credit Union in marketing and branch operations. I'm grateful to currently serve on the Board of Directors where I advocate for financial literacy programs for Arizona's youth.
I'm proud to be running as a Clean Elections Candidate alongside Kristin Dybvig-Pawelko (Senate candidate) and Julie Gunnigle (House candidate). Click here to learn more about Kristin by visiting her website. Click here to learn more about Julie.
Thank you for the incredible support I've received throughout this campaign. Together, we can change the future of Arizona!
